The Drizzlin’ Sheets Blues Band

Wasted Cat Records is pleased to announce that the latest recording by Vincenzo MacVilla and The Drizzlin’ Sheets Blues Band is scheduled for release on November 19, which also happens to be National Toe Fungus Recognition Day! So, mark your calendars, check your toes, and get ready to dance!
Vincenzo and The Drizzlin’ Sheets, the widely acclaimed Masters of the Blues, have once again created a recording that is destined to be an all-time classic. Just look at what the critics are saying:
”After listening to this recording, I never wanna’ hear anything else again!”
                 -B. Warned-Rolling Stone
”The perfect record for those recovering from a months-long bender and considering another visit to rehab.”
                 -D. Crosby-CSNY News
”MacVilla’s new record is destined for history. As a favor to mankind, it should be shot into deep space as a warning to Aliens who are up to no good!”
                 -NASA News
And that’s not all folks. Just read what noted music critic Maurice “Mo” Zhart had to say.
”To depict MacVilla as a unique composer and lyricist is quite an understatement. Here are the lyrics to his latest title tune, ‘Drunk Woman Blues’, played in slow blues shuffle time.”
Verse 1-“Old woman went down to the corner bar to watch the big game on TV.
Old woman went down to the corner bar to watch the big game on TV.
She went to the public toilet-came home with a STD.
Chorus- I got the worn down, tired out, don’t give a crap about
No nothin’. Straight up shot all to Hell
    Hot damn-what is that smell-blues
    (Chorus repeated twice).
Verse 2- Woke up this mornin’, mattress wet all ’round me.
Woke up this mornin’, mattress wet all ’round me.
My old drunk woman say, ‘It ain’t me honey! Must be the high humidity’.”
And then MacVilla goes back to the chorus 3 or 4 times, and the band plays endless meandering solos until the merciful fade-out.
That, my friends, is the best tune on this album. I would print the lyrics to “Ain’t That The Drizzlin’ Sheets?,” but even though this is not really a family publication, my objective here is to inform rather than gross out my readers. By the way, this recording would make the perfect anniversary gift for that difficult ex-spouse or significant other who was too nimble to dodge the car or too suspicious to drink the delicious milkshake.”

And there you have it folks…the very latest from Vincenzo and the Sheets. An open door release party with cash bar and all invited will be held at Despair Lanes Bowling Alley located at the corner of Ketomine Avenue and Crackbaby Boulevard in downtown Bunghole, Michigan, where Vincenzo MacVilla and the Drizzlin’ Sheets Blues Band appear nightly in the Dog Bowl Lounge and occasionally play music.
Those members of the band who are literate will be signing autographs for all fans (with purchase of CD and two drink minimum).
Thank you on behalf of Wasted Cat Records. Hope to see you there!
